The prediction system consists of two primary participant roles: the API Owner and the Platform User.

API Owner

The API Owner — Partner — is the account connected to the DuelDuck API dashboard and API key infrastructure. API Owners are responsible for managing prediction markets on their platform and have access to administrative functionality, including:
  • creating and managing projects;
  • generating API keys;
  • creating and resolving predictions;
  • monitoring analytics and participation data;
  • tracking commission earnings;
  • claiming platform revenue.
Each project operates independently and has its own dedicated API key.

Platform Users

Platform Users are the end users interacting with prediction markets through the integrated frontend experience. Users can:
  • connect their crypto wallets;
  • browse active predictions;
  • participate by voting Yes or No;
  • track active and resolved predictions;
  • receive rewards automatically after successful outcomes.
Users interact directly with the smart contract through non-custodial wallet transactions, meaning they always maintain control over their own funds.
